Totally worth the short drive from the Dells. The food was amazing, the home made potato chips were incredible, and the bartender was friendly.
I've been coming to Christmas Mountain for 9 years. I love this place! Great breakfast. Not that it's the only great thing. The locals are super friendly as are the owner and family. Never miss a couple of stops when here.

We are staying at Christmas Mountain and decided to try this place because it is close. We talked to quite a few locals, and they told us fish fries on Fridays are the Wisconsin thing to do. The Sand Trap did not disappoint. The fish was juicy and flaky, the breading was perfect, and the baked potato was hot and delicious. Our server was great, friendly, and efficient. They do not have draft beer but a good selection of domestic cans. The inside is your typical sports bar atmosphere. A very good meal for a very good price.
The Nashville chicken sandwich was AMAZING! The pizza is soooo good and crispy! Ahhh so happy we tried this place. This is our new go to when in the dells. The service was amazing and friendly. Place is child friendly.
We always find a local place to hang out when we are traveling. The Sand Trap was it. The location was within walking distance of our resort and it was chill and low key. The food was great and all very reasonably priced. But the best part was the service. Ang and Michael were awesome. They were warm and friendly with just a little spice. We wound up going 5 out of 7 evenings just to hang out. They were closed the other two or it would have been 7 out of 7. If we ever get back to the Dells we will be back.

Try the sidewinders! Great service! A little pricey, but no more than anywhere else in the Dells.
